Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. The service
Last Clockout is an app for iPhone and Apple Watch that counts down to your retirement: the working days, days, weeks and hours left until a last working day you choose, with milestones, widgets and share cards. It is provided by the operator of Last Clockout, based in Italy ("we").
Last Clockout is a countdown, not financial, legal or retirement-planning advice. The numbers it shows come from the dates and work pattern you enter and from the holiday calendar you choose. They can be wrong if those inputs are wrong or change. Check your retirement date, pension and benefits with your employer or a qualified adviser before you rely on them.
2. Acceptance
By using Last Clockout you accept these terms and acknowledge our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 16 years old to use Last Clockout.
3. No account
Last Clockout has no accounts and no sign-in. What you enter is stored on your own devices, and you are responsible for keeping it, for example through your iPhone's backups.
4. Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and as intended. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or try to unlock Pro features without buying them, except where the law allows it.
5. Pro: the one-time purchase
- Free and Pro. The countdown, milestones, share cards and basic widgets are free. Pro adds extra features, listed in the app before you buy.
- One price, once. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy, and may differ by country.
- Payment through Apple. Apple handles payment and billing entirely; we never see your payment details. Purchases are checked and restored through RevenueCat.
- Restore. You can restore Pro on your devices with the same Apple ID from Settings in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Intellectual property and your data
The Last Clockout name, logo, design and code belong to the operator of Last Clockout. You may use the app for your own personal purposes under these terms; no other licence is granted. Everything you enter, and the share cards you create, are yours. We do not receive them.
7. Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep the counts correct and the app running, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of the app's numbers.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Indemnification
If you breach these terms or infringe someone else's rights through your use of the app, you are responsible for the resulting claims against us, to the extent the law allows.
9. App Store terms
- These terms are between you and the operator of Last Clockout, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
- Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile carrier's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- Questions, complaints and claims about the app: the operator of Last Clockout, Italy, support@lastclockout.com.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Last Clockout at any time by deleting the app, which removes everything it stored on your devices. What we and our providers hold, and how to have it deleted, is explained on Delete your data. We may stop offering the app or a feature; Pro features you bought keep working for as long as the app runs on your devices.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law, and the Italian courts have jurisdiction. This does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using the app after a non-material change, the updated terms apply.
